The Empire State Building Honors 60th Anniversary of the Communist Revolution

The Progressive Caucus and the White House must be elated to see the management of the Empire State Building honoring the 60th Anniversary of the Communist Revolution in China by lighting the top of the empire state building in the colors of Chinese flag. Liberals never miss a chance to pay homage to brutal totalitarian regimes and it’s hard to find an example more totalitarian or more brutal than the Chinese.  They must be so proud.

Like all great Communists, Mao was a champion of bold moves for social justice, fairness and social change — change that the Chinese people could believe in.  The first such move for social justice was called The Great Leap Forward which was meant to industrialize China  It was responsible for killing an estimated 34 million people through slow starvation between 1958 and 1962, while the government storehouses stood full of food.  Of course, that’s minor compared to the estimated 72 million people that were killed in Mao’s illustrious climb to power.  The people of China have be crushed under the thumb of social justice ever since.

Who can forget the scene at Tienamnen Square in 1989 when thousands gathered to protest  the death of a pro-democracy, anti-corruption leader named Hu Yaobang.   They wanted change of their own and an end to authoritarianism, corruption and the brutality of Communism.  Hundreds were killed when the tanks arrived to clear the streets and many hundreds more were arrested, never to be seen again.  This must be making Jimmy Carter’s heart swell with pride.
